Errands

Ever since my weekend get-a-way in Tennessee with family I've been going non-stop! I finished my final project for my internship with Anthro, so today that parcel with those documents is headed straight for Athens, GA. I've always loved an errand to the post office for some reason, gives me a feeling of accomplishment to be sending away something that needed tending to :) 

Today I went for light and airy with a silk blouse, and that always does the trick!

Today marks the final day of my internship with Anthropologie! It has been such a whirl-wind summer, full of new people, new sites, and new experiences. I have cherished every bit of info that I could absorb and am so thankful for all the managers and sales associates who helped me along the way! It's been a great summer Charlotte, but I am ready to head back to Athens, for just one more semester :)

Happy Monday everyone!

This past weekend I enjoyed moving...yet again, to another new apartment in Athens. Oh the joys of college! 

I'm an official resident of 755 Broad and plan to stay there until I graduate! 

The apartment is beautiful and it was such a productive weekend thanks to the help of my loving family.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and an even greater start to their week, 

I brightened up my Monday with my fabulous elephant belt :)) Oh the perks of Anthropologie!

Thank the good Lord Almighty it is Friday! After a productive week Rachel and I went for cocktails and hor dourves at the Duke Mansion. The mansion, built in 1915, had breathtaking grounds and the mansion was filled with beautifully decorated colonial revival styles. It was nice to get back to nature after being in the shop all week. Western Impression

So sorry for the delay in any Reminder days lately! Working on my blogging organization :)

Over the Fourth of July break I enjoyed the chance to go with Daniel and his family to a friends cabin in Claxton, Ga. Mrs. Phyllis lives off of the Canoochee River and has a quaint little cabin in the woods. She has the kindest heart and the funniest taste in home decor...as soon as we walked in, plastered to every wall was Indian/Western decoration. The were vintage family pictures on the wall, photos of wolfs howling at the moon, dream catchers for "the spirits," and Indian print tapestries at every turn! Although I thought it quite cute and funny she really is on trend with this seasons western vibes! The clothing line The 2 Bandits shaped their upcoming Fall 2012 line on Arizona turquoise set in silver, with denim, denim, and more denim. Booties are incorporating tassels like the old Indian moccasins, and the popular colors for fall are revolving around the hues in a sunset. I'm really enjoying the Western styles lately, and reallly am dying for a 2 Bandit necklace, giddy-up cowgirls!
