Happy Monday!

Today Colleen and I ventured down an Athens ally way... and we survived!

These shoes however beautiful and darling, literally killed my feet!

I usually try and keep things chipper on my blog but I'm not gunna lie, my feet were screaming at me while I was taking these pictures. I've decided I need to find more stylish and comfortable shoes. Living near town I walk everywhere and I still have yet to find a pair of shoes that I want to put on my feet everyday...any suggestions??....Besides sneakers!?

Floral/Stripes

Today was perfect, and what makes it even better is that we're one day away from the weekend!

My friend Anna Kay spent the afternoon with me;

 we enjoyed laughs, a photo shoot, a workout, and finally a pedicure. 

Today's look was inspired by all the looks of pattern mixing that I've seen lately.

Hi everyone and happy Monday! Sorry about my week-long hiatus, the first week of school was packed with school, parties, and friends! This week I am back on the band wagon and am so so glad to be back in Athens. Today was hot, as every August in Georgia has been for all my life, but fortunately I had the perfect breezy skirt for the weather; in the perfect mint color of the season.

Errands

Ever since my weekend get-a-way in Tennessee with family I've been going non-stop! I finished my final project for my internship with Anthro, so today that parcel with those documents is headed straight for Athens, GA. I've always loved an errand to the post office for some reason, gives me a feeling of accomplishment to be sending away something that needed tending to :) 

Today I went for light and airy with a silk blouse, and that always does the trick!
