hey everyone! i arrived back home yesterday from a trip down to summerton to visit daniel. it was a short, but sweet escape from the ordinary hustle and bustle in atlanta. i didn't take any glamour shots for the blog since i decided to stay in my favorite tshirt and distressed jeans for the day of my visit... sometimes i like to embrace that country girl that lingers in me. today i'm back to work and i'm loving the beautiful fall weather that i feel coming our way here in the south. being from savannah we don't get much of a change in foliage, up in atlanta and the north georgia mountains the trees change from green, to red, orange, and yellow. it's such a beautiful transition. i can't wait to head to a pumpkin patch soon!
i hope everyone has a wonderful day!
this fall a great trend starting is the pairing of green and black, especially zebra stripe textures...because i have not had a chance (or the budget) to go out and shop for a few new fall key pieces i looked to what i already had in my closet for a bit of inspiration.
every girl has a classic white v-neck and a pair of black pants or shorts. i took these key items and paired them with a vintage scarf and a tweed flower that i've had in my closet for as long as i can remember. i loved the lady-like look that came out of the pairing, and the colors were right on point for popular colors this fall.
these trusty pumps from zara add spice to every outfit!
how do you plan to incorporate this trend? do you like it??
let me know what you think!
xo,
A
